Our Hero Origin Story
Mauve Morpho began with a front-row seat to operational disaster:
A busy law firm, cases piling up, deadlines looming like storm clouds, and then the unthinkable happened — important case files vanished. More chaos ensued, the clock ran out, and a client’s trust was jeopardized.
This wasn’t a hypothetical scenario. It’s a slice of history from our founder, Nic Perry’s, days as a Director of Operations at a prestigious law firm, a moment that revealed a hard truth about legal tech:

Since early 2018, we’ve been rebuilding the way law firms use technology, with clean workflows, reliable automations, solid data architecture, and systems designed for people.
Since we started working in law firms and then branched out to tech, we understand how law firms work and how the tech should fit their operations, not the other way around.

CEO & Principal Consultant
Before forming Mauve Morpho, Nic had worked with a variety of roles and projects ranging the operations gamut. Before his MBA, he majored in Finance with minors in psychology and Spanish. Before that, writing and helping to negotiate contracts for a large Healthcare IT company internationally. He has worked as the Director of Operations for a law firm, doing finance, IT, HR, and management.
At the law firm, he selected and implemented Actionstep for the firm; he has been working with and building Actionstep systems since early 2018.

Builder Consultant
Autumn is the newest member of the Mauve Morpho team. They have the superpower of seeing the big picture and all the tiny details alike, giving them a natural leg up on finding solutions to your niche issues.Within their first year working with Mauve Morpho, Autumn has become the leading US expert on Builder, Actionstep’s newest legal document automation tool. If you need a complex logic built into an important document template, you’ve come to the right person.
Autumn began their career in construction, where their analytical mind was applied in a very different way. Eventually, their interest in tech led them to take on various tech support roles, eventually finding their way to us. Autumn has a long-standing passion for PC gaming and loves to spend their free time working toward another win.
When away from their desk, Autumn enjoys hiking with their partner & pup in the beautiful PNW, or relaxing with a good book or podcast.

Actionstep Consultant
Eveliina manages the system build-out and customization for our Actionstep clients. Her impressive depth of knowledge around Actionstep has made her an integral part of the Mauve Morpho team’s processes, both on the training end as well as the behind-the-scenes orchestration of a truly supportive case management system.
Eveliina lives in the Dallas area, and in her free time enjoys playing video games, solving escape rooms, and hanging out with her Australian Shepherd, Milo.

Emily’s title changes depending on Mauve Morpho’s needs, and her ever-growing multi-disciplinary skillset has made her an integral part of our team. When she’s not answering support requests and helping to sort out pesky glitches, Emily handles a myriad of internal and administrative tasks at Mauve Morpho.
Whether she’s donning the hat of a project manager, navigating partnership certifications with different software companies, or putting the initial custom touches on your Actionstep system, Emily is our go-to person for all the bits and bobs and in-betweens. If you reach out to someone from our team, you might get a reply from Emily (even if you can’t tell). She’s our resident “creative type”, with an education background in cultural anthropology, sociology, and the history of music and dance.
She spends her off time indulging in various crafts such as making music, creating new recipes, and taking photographs around Philadelphia.

Angela has expertise in several bookkeeping software tools, with a focus on those which integrate with Actionstep. She is our in-house support for your bookkeeping needs, whether it’s taking on the monthly billing tasks for your firm, or training your firm’s bookkeeper on best practices in your chosen software.Angela is a rockstar mom and a total nature buff outside of Mauve Morpho. You can catch her hiking the beautiful trails around the Portland area, and if you’re curious about what kind of tree you found on your own hike, she might be able to tell you.
